When the part does not exist, we make it
Custom marine parts NZ boats cannot buy off the shelf. Custom CNC engineering, designed in house, machined through a trusted specialist network, checked and fitted by us.
Send us the detailsParts you cannot buy, made to fit
If it bolts to a boat and cannot be bought, we can make it. CNC machined marine components, custom equipment and hard to source parts, designed off your boat or your broken original, from a custom boat bracket to a full set of race hardware.
Four steps, no guesswork
Design stays in house and every job runs on the machine that suits it. Nothing gets lost between the drawing and the cut.
You describe the part or hand us the broken one. Photos, a sketch or the part itself all work.
Drawn in CAD in house, measured off the boat or the original, and confirmed with you before anything is cut.
Machining runs through our trusted specialist network of CNC engineers in New Zealand and worldwide. Stainless pipe work and bracketry go to the specialist marine fabricators we work with. Every job lands on the right machine or the right bench.
Every part is inspected against the drawing, finished for salt water and fitted by our technicians.
Made here, running worldwide
The reel rolls on its own. Drag it, or click any part for the full picture. Every one started as a problem without an off the shelf answer.

The right material for the job
Marine grade 316 stainless, aluminium alloys, acetal and engineering plastics, chosen for the load and the salt. Where a job needs stainless marine fabrication design, pipe work or bracketry, we bring in the specialist marine stainless fabricators we work with, and it comes off the same drawing set.
Straight answers
Can you make a part from a broken original?
Yes, that is most of the work we do. Bring us the part, even in pieces, and we measure what is left, draw it in CAD and remake it, usually in a better material than it started with.
How long does a custom part take?
Design is usually a few days once we have the part or the measurements. Machining depends on the material and the machine it needs, and most jobs run one to three weeks door to door. If the boat is out of the water waiting on it, tell us, and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
Is a one off part expensive?
It costs more than a catalogue part, when a catalogue part exists. There is no cheap and good in the marine world, it is one or the other. What you get is a part that fits, in the right material, that you are not replacing again next season. We design first, then call you with a report and an estimate before anything is machined. Nothing proceeds without your approval.
Can you design something that never existed?
Yes. If you can describe what it needs to do, we can design it. We measure off the boat, draw it in CAD and talk it through with you before it goes to machining. For complex parts we can run a test piece first, so the final part goes on right the first time.
Got a part that does not exist?
Send us the details or the broken original. We will tell you straight if we can make it, what it will cost and how long it will take.
